Much like the first two sets, IUPUI never found solid footing in the third despite an early kill from Alan in the middle. Things began well for IUPUI in set two as Allie Pogue had an early kill, but after a service error later made it 8-6 Broncos, WMU ripped off seven straight points to seize control. However, the Broncos got a critical sideout to ignite a run of five straight points to end the set. With Alli Cook on the service line, IUPUI got back to 20-19 with four straight points, which included a Millai Madison kill.
